Many university students struggle with poor sleep quality. A
recent study by the University of Amsterdam found that, when compared to 20-30% of all adults, 54% of the students showed signs of poor sleep quality. A second
study by Taylor & Francis Group of over 1,000 students found that more than two-thirds struggle with this issue. That's where “Nocturnity” comes in.
Introducing “Nocturnity”: your solution to student sleep problems. Our platform offers digital sleep journaling that allows students to track their sleeping patterns, emotions and daily campus activities. We then offer one-on-one insights from professionals in online sessions. Our goal is to help students succeed academically by helping them feel refreshed and ready.
We offer unique features such as virtual sleep retreats with live sessions, free webinars, pre-recorded meditation exercises and more.
We’re also students and we know you need support. That’s why we created online peer groups where you can share your experience and find words of encouragement. Say goodbye to restless nights and hello to academic success with Nocturnity.
We relied on research to determine our target audience. Around 1 in 3 adults worldwide have insomnia symptoms. Online magazine readers are mostly young adults according to this
study and that is why we want to focus on college students as our audience. According to a national Norwegian
survey conducted from 2010 to 2018, more than half of the fifty thousand responding college students suffer from insomnia. We recognize that insomnia among college students is a problem worth more attention and we aim to help those who endure symptoms related to insomnia.
